Map pufferfish (Arothron mappa) have beautiful cryptic patterns on their skin, in particular camouflaging the location of their eyes. I wanted to capture the beauty of this disruptive camouflage so chose a black and white representation of this.
Weedy Sea Dragons are wonderfully curious creatures. They are related to sea horses and camouflage themselves in amongst the yellow kelp leaves you can see in the edge of this frame. Despite this photo showing off their glorious colours they're incredibly difficult to spot as they wash gently back and forth in the swell.
